Th'is was my first trip to vegas. I spent months researching, reading reviews and asking family who have been going there for 30 years. I chose Bill's for the small size and location.I could not have been happier!! We were right in the middle of the action of the strip but could walk in and be just a few steps from... more

Located slap bang in the middle of Las Vegas Blvd, opposite Caesar's Palace, Bills Gamblin Hall offers everything you need at a great price. Rooms are recently refurbished and clean. The bar is very lively and a good place to end your evenings. It is well worth considering this hotel as an alternative to the sometimes faceless large competitors, especially... more

We moved to this hotel from the stratosphere and couldnt believe the difference! This is a relatively small hotel compared to most on the strip but we liked the intimate atmosphere. The decor is highly stylised - "Wild west saloon" which we really liked and the gaming hall is not as intimidating (or noisy!) as some of those that we... more

Financial constraints "forced" me to go to Bill's - $400 Hotel and Airfair. I was nervous that there be a lot of hourly customers. Upon check-in, I received a room on the 1st floor (of room). I was right above Flamingo Ave. and my first reaction was, I need to request a change. The room was clean, they decor was... more

We had 5 nights in Vegas - 3 here at Bill's and then moved to the Palazzo. Bill's is not fancy, classy or any of that like the Palazzo was but I would have had no problem staying here for the full 5 nights!! We arrived early evening and were checked in straight away (we did have trouble finding the... more

You cannot beat this hotel for the price and location. On the Strip, on the corner across from Caesar and Bally's and caddie corner from the fountians of Bellagio. We watched the fountians from our room for about $60 a night. This hotel use to be the Barbary Coast. It is about 4 stories tall and one of the oldest... more

We planned our Vegas trip over a year ago and started sifting through pages and pages of hotel reviews to try and find the best place to stay. We looked at the highly priced options (my partner really wanted to stay at The Venetian, but we couldn't get a good deal for the time we were visiting). Then we started... more

I stayed here from 11/26-11/29. Here's the deal: If you can afford to stay at the Bellagio or Caesar's...do it. Both are perfectly centered on the strip and absolutely beautiful inside! However, if you are like me and can't afford a room for $250+ a night, definitely choose Bill's. It's not beautiful, but it's really chill with an old Vegas... more

4 of us stayed at Bill's 21-27 November 2009. We arrived mid afternoon, cab drops you off on Flamingo, 5 second walk to check-in. Check-in - no line, no wait & the receptionist even knew my name! We got rooms 222 & 216. I was in 216. It was a partial strip view, which is free, a strip view is... more

The location is absolutely wonderful. Bill's is situated across the strip from Caesar's, kitty-corner from the Belagio, and pretty much on the center of the strip. However, the rates for this hotel are about half what you would pay at Caesar's, and a much smaller fraction of Belagio's rates. Therefore it makes a perfect base for exploring the North or... more
