This was a solo trip for me, my 3rd trip in 18 months and my first DT. I had decided on the Nugget before even looking at other hotels based on reviews here. I was overly impressed with the staff from the Valet, bellhops, front desk. My room was ready and it was above expectations. It was a South Tower... more

First time staying off-strip (downtown) -- have been to Las Vegas numerous times. The hotel is very nice. The room was in the North Tower which has been remodeled recently (per other reviewers) and was average. It was clean. The bathroom was small. The buffet was very good and the customer service was excellent. Slots were very tight but we're... more

Loved the Nugget. Its the best in downtown las vegas. Its hot in july but their pool is the place to be. THE TANK has a shark tank in the middle of the pool. Great place for relaxing in the water. Rooms are very nice the restaurants are very good and service is excellent. We will stay there next year more

My boyfriend and I planned a Vegas weekend and reserved and paid for two nights at the Mirage. After we booked that trip, he got a deal from the Golden Nugget for 3 free nights, 2 free meals and $250 to gamble with in the casino. So he decided to go ahead and take them up on our offer and... more

We spent 7 nights and 8 days at the Golden Nugget. This was our first time staying down on Fremont St. We figured that since we always end up playing downtown, we might as well stay there this time. We used VIP check in and our room was ready for us when we arrived at 11:00 am. They provided a... more

For the best rates, I continually checked every possible website for months! The hotel website was actually the best each/every time. I even canceled and rebooked with the hotel when their prices declined. After seeing negative reviews on tripadvisor, I was hesitant about our trip. Our group stayed in the south tower in 3 rooms in the 17th nonsmoking floor;... more

I upgraded my room and even that is just ok. The non smoking rooms still smell of smoke. I changed my room, now my room doesn't smell but the sheets do. Carpet is very old. The pool, is not as grand as shown in the pictures. It is actually rather small. Other then seeing the freemont street evening activities it... more

I was only at the Golden Nugget for 1 night while waiting to join others the following day at anonther hotel in Las Vegas. I arrived at the hotel at 10pm and was greeted quite cheerfully by the front desk staff. I was told there was good news and bad news, I had booked a smoking room and there weren't... more

Just back from another excellent stay at the Golden Nugget. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and you will not get better value anywhere in Vegas, the US or Europe. We have travelled far and wide and no where is as good as the Golden Nugget. We were last there in October last year and it has... more
