We stayed here for one day, because we had to check out of MGM on the strip at 11am, and our flight left at 11pm, and needed a place to put our bags, rest, and see a bit more. We hadn't gone to Old Vegas yet, so decided to go on our last day. Old Vegas is not for me,... more

My first bad experience in Vegas and this happened at the Golden Nugget this past weekend. Check in on Friday, and was given a suite in the Spa Tower. Beautiful 2 story room. Thumbs up. Put bag in room and went out to gamble. Got back to room early Saturday morning around 3:30 am. Slept and up around 11:30am and... more

The remodeled rooms in the South Tower were beautiful and comfortable. We had thought to maybe use the pool but it is like center stage at a singles club, surrounded by glass and full of young people, so not the sanctuary we oldies were hoping for. All staff were very polite and helpful. Food was good. The highlight of the... more

The Golden Nugget Hotel is one of the best, if not THE BEST, hotel located in downtown Las Vegas. Please remember that downtown Las Vegas is different from the "Vegas Strip". The gambling is cheaper and better downtown than the strip. However, the strip has more shopping and night life. The hotel is very clean and offers many gaming opportunities... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in september, had prebooked with netflights for only £105, but it was only a basic room in the south tower, wished we had paid for an upgraid to the north tower which I understand are much better rooms, there was no coffee maker or fridge. We only ate in carsons cafe which was very nice.... more

This was my 4th trip to Vegas. I've stayed at the Aladdin (now PH), the Palazzo, and the Monte Carlo. I've visited downtown before, but never stayed there. This time, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very glad that we did. We arrived on a Thursday night, around 11pm. Check in was a little slow, but thorough. We... more

The bartender... more

The Golden Nugget Hotel was one of my favorite parts of Vegas. One of the most popular aspects of this hotel is the casino located on the bottom floor, although I was unable to take part in the gambling due to my age, the sight of all the machines and black jack tables was overwhelming. At the core of the... more

We travel to Vegas once or twice a year. We were at the end of our week long road trip and decided to stay on Fremont St., as we like the atmosphere but have never stayed there. We had checked out hotels on the internet the night before and the Golden Nugget had an advertised price of $89 for a... more
