Been in vegas 9 times and always stayed on the strip.I wanted to change it up so stayed downtown.This is the only place worth staying in downtown area.Rush tower was awesome and newly renovated hotel had strip look but with laid back crowd. This was a great hotel in busy downtown Las Vegas, couldn't fault it. The rooms very spacious, clean and up to date. The selection of restaurants varied and the pool area clean and well looked after. I can't say enough about this property ! From the staff to the bargain rate to it's beautiful renovations ...this is the best kept secret in Vegas ! The Nugget sets the bar for hotels near Freemont Street. The casino, common areas, pool, and restaurants are all as nice as many of the resorts on the strip. Downtown has a pleasantly sketchy vibe. We got an awesoem gold club room. huge room, great tv. you get inculded snacks, and water all day as well. we also rented a cabana at the pool for adults and had a blast. we love freemont street and the nugget is our hang out. More
