I generally upgrade to better suites whenever I stay anywhere, but the North tower was booked. The room in the south tower was clean, good sized and adequate. My husband and I just returned from our 2nd stay at the Golden Nugget. We arrived very early and knew that we would not be able to check in. We had booked a VIP Gold Club Room. We stayed at this hotel because that is where my Aunt & Uncle were staying to watch the basketball tournament. I did not expect to enjoy it that much. Its more of an older crowd but the hotel is nice, the pool is amazing and its right by Fremont St. more
