The rooms in the two towers are totally different. The north tower opened in 1996 and has huge rooms. If you get a suite on 15 - they are larger than many apartments and have floor to ceiling windows. Most have hot tubs right in the bedroom. It's cheap, it isn't fancy, but if you want a decent hotel room in Downtown Vegas for a great rate, this is a solid Choice. We had a room in the north tower, it was large, clean and very basic.
