We stayed at the MGM Grand for my 40th birthday, the staff was friendly, The hotel is very Big I liked the walk way to new york new york. The breakfeast buffet was excellent, they have emerils and wolfganf pucks and the beatles lounge, I enjoyed the Beatles lounge, the rooms were very clean although your not in your room... more

Great location on the Strip, just opposite to the New York New York hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Booked the normal tower room, got a nice room from the West Wing. Lots of things to do and see, monorail station within the hotel. Nice pool area but crowded with people. Long walking distances to the rooms definitely a minus.... more

We had a 12 night stay at the MGM Grand 16 - 28 Oct 09 for our wedding/honeymoon. After hours of reading trip advisor reviews decided this sounded about the best hotel for us and i have to say we were very glad we picked this hotel! Apologies in advance if this is a long review, its my 1st ever... more

stayed at the MGM October 25-27. Checked in at the registration desk at the airport at 8:30am, booked the roundtrip airport shuttle from them and was on my way. upon arrival at the hotel I went straight to my room. No need to stand in that line in the lobby. Was upgraded to a King Bungalow Suite. All I can... more

As you would expect in Vegas, the hotel was HUGE, I had a room in the West Wing which is the MGM's "Boutigue" Wing, my room was nice, very modern bathroom with TV in the mirror etc, however it was small and as I was in there on my own it was fine however I would not have liked to... more

This was a good value. As in, there was a lot of it to experience. It wasn't fabulous, but it didn't suck either! It was the first Vegas place I paid for out of pocket as a poor college student with my poor graduate student boyfriend (November 2007), so it holds pretty fond memories for us :) For such a... more

I stayed in the MGM for 7 days - 23rd October until the 30th October and there was nothing 'wrong' with this hotel as such, however compared to some of the others it does look a bit faded. We (myself and a friend) stayed in the Grand Tower, Floor 8, Room 311 and it took 1 minute to get to... more

I got an offer to stay for 3 nights free. So I took them up on it and took a girls trip to Vegas! I had never stayed here before, and will definitely go back. We stayed in a deluxe room that had a great view of NYNY, Excalibur, Tropicana, Luxor... The room was big and clean, and the beds... more

For all the glitter the MGM is a very drab place under the surface. Check in was slow and ill informed. Most of the "attractions" were significantly overpriced. The buffet was very variable in temperature and quality - the meals were the same every day. The staff in the buffet were consistently well mannered and polite. The casino machines were... more
