Stayed Sunday through Wednesday, just after Thanksgiving. As far as strip hotels go, this is average. We stayed here with 3 young children after reading other reviews. * Check-in quick and easy. The room I stayed in was in the Chrysler Building section- great, but not overly spacious, room - 2 massive queen-sized beds (which is probably why it didn't feel spacious), a large bathroom with shower, a safe, big TV...posh Bose iPod alarm clock, and average cupboard space. Clean and comfy...with a nice view from the South end of the strip.... more

The staff were helpful and always friendly. The hotel is great to walk into, others around the strip were either dark or claustrophobic. New York New York was a great place to stay, at the upper end of the strip, but central to the MGM, Excelsior and walking distance to the Bellagio... Try the roller coaster!!!! more

The hotel was nice but not so much when you see the other hotels like the bellagio or paris, but we had a great time and it was nice if you want a cheap motel room...since you wont be in your room a lot anyways. do not eat at Gallaghers or II fernaio(please excuse the spelling on the names). but... more

We have been in New York New York on Saturday, hotel was very full. Dirty room and towels. I dont recommend this hotel. more

I think NY NY is still living in the 90's (When it first opened). The casino is a very happening floor and the Times Square bar still pulls a crowd. I arrived Thanksgiving day from San Diego, needed a family getaway (or should I say get away from family :-) I booked on priceline and put in $90 for a four star or better hotel, so I didn't have a lot of choice on which hotel, when the price came back as NY NY. Nice location on the strip, many nearby attractions. Hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and had many things to do. more
