Stayed here the weekend of the Hatten fight. Did not have any tickets and could not get hold of any. Were we lucky or not!!!!!. We picked the Orleans because we have stayed there years ago, so knew what to expect. and the deal was $219 with $100 of credit. We thought it was a good deal and it proved... more

The Orleans is part of the former Coast group of hotels (Sun Coast, Gold Coast) that is now owned by Boyd Gaming (Sam's Town). As such, this hotel includes a multi-screen movie theater and a bowling center if you want to get away from the gaming tables and slot machines. The Orleans offers clean, comfortable rooms along with a selection... more

Let me begin by stating that I was less than excited when my husband said we would be staying here for a portion of our Vegas trip. He bowled in the USBC. That was the main purpose of our trip but we also stayed at Mandalay Bay as he wanted to take me to the Lion King show and we... more

Good points - Room is large, clean, and bed is comfortable. Reasonable base price. Bad points - $12.99 a day for Internet use in your room. That charge is criminal. They claim to have FREE Internet use at the Seattle Best Coffee Shop. Been here a week and unable to use FREE Internet. They might allow maybe 2 users, all... more

I would stay there again rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. But there valet service and room service was terrible. The valet guys were very rude. Its not as nice as some of the hotels on strip . But for the money it was great. more

Room was large, well kept, large bath with a nice view of the strip. Location was mixed, not on strip but parking was easier than if it was. The shuttle buses ran regularly. We thought Big Al's Oyster bar was great (including the halibut, salmon & oysters). All of the staff were friendly & helpful except the surly cashiers at... more

Our likes were the spacious and clean rooms, and the better-than-expected dining options (especially Don Miguel's Mexican); also, the price was reasonable. Very nice pool area. One strong dislike was the cluelessness of the front desk and other hotel personnel regarding a major event occurring at their own hotel. No one we talked to seemed to have any idea of... more

It was our first trip to Vegas and in hindsight I would have splurged and stayed at one of the iconic hotels located on the Strip but if you are looking for good value, no-frills accommodation at $40 a night then The Orleans is an okay option. We caught the shuttle that ran on a regular timetable we never had... more

My second time at the Orleans and despite reading some reviews claiming it had gone downhill I was equally as satisfied as last year. The rooms are as clean and good value as ever and the dining options are good enough . Throw in a bowling alley and cinema along with drinks half the price of strip hotels as well... more

We stayed there 2 nights just before Christmas 2008. Our room was in the original tower and everything in it was original. The room is still very large and the strip view is still outstanding. The carpet was a disgrace, big spots everywhere. Not a carpet you want to walk barefoot. The furniture is old and, like the sofa, very worn.Even... more
