Just returned from a four- day stay at The Venetian in Las Vegas. I make it a point to review comments on Tripadvisor before staying at any hotel, and I must admit I was a little nervous after reading The Venetian reviews. First, I am glad to say my experience was better than expected, but not necessarily excellent. Let me... more

Hotel is all you would expect from the high standard in Vegas, however the venetian is dare i say this too big!! Most of the hotels are not just hotels but whole areas filled with shops restaurants and their own casinos, it could take you hours to wonder through, however the venetian is the biggest of the lot boasting over... more

Hotel service is non existent. Caters to the masses. Must carry photo id and credit card wherever you go. Employees are not EXPERIENCED. I was injured in shower by part falling off and hitting me in eye. No medical care. No manager attempted to rectify anything. I am still under a Dr.'s care. Lines wherever you go. Concierge, check in,... more

My wife and i took this trip over the 4th of July holiday and were very impressed. To put it into perspective we booked it through hotwire at less than $100 a night which was a steal. The rooms were HUGE and very clean. Our view was from the 33rd floor overlooking the pool and the strip. They have thought... more

This hotel is great! The grounds are beautiful. It's a huge place and you could get lost easily walking through. The location of this hotel is pretty decent. It's not in the center of things but it is very close to the Fashion Show Mall. It seems like all the hotels on the strip are designed to keep you on... more

I was there for a software conference and I liked the hotel. It was a great place over all and I will return. However it seemed to me and others on our business trip that the hotel will run a rate bluff on you if you're in town for a large convention and the rest of the town is full.... more

My husband and I just returned from a week's stay at The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. We have been married for almost twenty years and wanted to get away and spend some time together alone. This hotel delivered just what we needed. We had a basic suite in the Venitia Tower on the 31st floor. The room was amazing... more

We just spent 4 days at the Venetian and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room is a beautiful, 650 sq ft. tastefully decorated suite with a supremely comfortable pillow top king bed with a sunken living area with sectional couch and dining table. 3 flat screen TV's. The bathroom is all marble and the provided toiletries were top quality. The hall... more

Two days after we stayed the Venetian/Palazzo announced massive employee layoffs. That explains some of the problems that we had. The rooms were still nice by any standards but some of the "small" things that the Venetian was once known for were no longer being done in the way they had been done in the past. The bell service was... more
