The hotel room was just average. I did get a pool view room that overlooked all of the lights of City Center at night.. It made for a very beautiful view. The hotel had a nice variety of restaurants, shops and a nice little food court. It was a good location for me while running the Zappos Vegas Half Marathon. More

We stayed here because it was the cheapest place on The Strip during our visit. The rooms are pretty much ordinary motel/hotel rooms, but they are very clean and very nicely decorated. I have stayed at the monte carlo twice over the years. The people are always friendly and it's generally a nice hotel. They pump this aroma into the air system that makes it one of the nicer smelling hotels if that means anything. The rooms were nice, and I cant really think of anything bad to say about the hotel.... We got a great price so we jumped on it. I know there are nicer places, but this was fine for my wife and me. It had everything we needed right there. Good blackjack rules, excellent buffet, great brew pub and a hidden tram that nobody ever used that shot you up the strip. More
