We recently stayed at Excalibur over the Thanksgiving week. Upon entering the hotel we were able to go straight up to check-in, there were plenty of friendly attendents to take care of us. I asked for a view of all things the airport, for a hubby that is more into plane watching than gambling...lol...the request was met easily. We arrived... more

Its location is perfect. The price is great. The time share propaganda was annoying. The $29.95 all you can eat all day buffet was excellent. more

I booked a trip through CheapTickets.com and when I went online to print my confirmation, I found an unwelcome surprise - "Mandatory hotel charges will be collected by the hotel at checkout: Resort fee of $20.00USD or Per Night that is taxable - includes fitness center access, free drinks and more." Had I known about this mandatory charge at the... more

Not a bad hotel but we found our room on the 23rd floor of tower 2 to be a playground for kids at nighttime as they thought holding up the elevators was funny!! We were hounded upon check in to go and claim a free gift which was only redeemable after giving a $40 deposit and attending a time share... more

We arrived to a "remodeled widescreen room" only to find a partial remodel. New tv, low-end remodeled bath, and new pillowtop mattresses. Be warned these are thin pillowtops. The sheets were clean, but stained. The blankets were dirty and not double sheeted. However, I requested extra sheets and did it myself. Room furniture appears to be original. On third day,... more

We had no problems at all with The Excalibur even though some comments made here have been negative. We booked online and got a great deal on price that included admission to "Defending the Caveman". The staff were relaxed and friendly at reception, our room, 25th floor, Tower 2, facing the other tower, was clean and quiet. No issues whatsoever.... more

It is basically what you expect from a hotel on the Strip. The moment you walk in the bells are ringing and that has nothing to do with the wedding chapel. The reason we chose for this hotel was its location. There are other hotels on either side, so you can virtually walk straight from one into the other. Once... more

Spent two nights at Excalibur. Stained sheets and brown 'water' spots on the toilet seat lid. Hair dryer either moldy or layered with dampt grey dust. Dirty carpet. I informed the front desk the following early morning but when I returned late the next night nothing had been changed other than the towels were changed. Two sleepless nights and no... more

"You get what you pay for" is a saying that is more true in Vegas than anywhere else in the world. This Hotel is very cheap and very central. If you are going to Vegas on a budget and do not mind a walking then I would recommend this hotel. It is acroos the road from NY NY and the... more
