This hotel was located near the beginning of "the strip" at the corner of Tropicana Ave. and Las Vegas Boulevard. It had a Medieval flavor and the rooms were in Tower One or Tower Two. The room was relatively cheap, around thirty-dollars plus a $14.00 dollar fee paid at checkout. Check in and checkout took less than 10 minutes. The... More

Stayed at Excalibur for 4 nights 02/02 - 02/05. Widescreen Tower room in tower 2 was good. Could have used a little more interior lighting and a decent size mirror somewhere other than the bathroom. Bathroom was decent size with a big walk in shower. The room was clean and we head no problems with it. The casino is by... More

My wife took me there for my birthday last year-- everything was good. We decided to upgrade room for only a few $ more a night and had a view of part of the strip-- but we were high up. Being in Vegas I do not see the need for spending $$$ on room that you might only be in... More

Stayed here for the last weekend in Jan 2012. Celebrated a friends birthday. We had 2 rooms. 1 Tower Room (Located in Tower I: The room could use an upgrade and still has the same decor from when the hotel was built. Has the musty smell, outdated furnishings but they did upgrade the tv.) We had the Deluxe room (Located... More

I attempted to stay in this hotel (at the request of a client). I was barely able to walk through the putrid smoke laden casino to the registration desk I was coughing so much! I tried to wait in line for check in to tell them to cancel my room. I figured If the casino smelled this gawd awful the... More

Stayed here for the New Year's weekend, as it was the most affordable, central location on the Strip for our needs. Check-in took awhile, given that it was such a busy time, and our hotel clerk was quite pleasant, and even found a room with a nice view of the Luxor instead of a parking lot roof. It was very... Although the hotel could do with an upgrade, I would recommend it for travellers with children. My whole family stated there (13 of us, one disabled and 1 a baby) I found the price was very reasonable for 13 of us and there were some wide-eyed children who couldn't stay away from the activities. All in all, as the beds... More

The entire hotel has filthy windows and only once did i see a window washer in the hallways going door to door washing windows.Greesy Smudges on all glass... More
