Stayed for 2 nights in a standard room. Arrived around noon and there was a line of about 30 people to check in. The line moved fairly quickly and I got a non-smoking, 2 bed standard room (no widescreen tv) on the 14th floor. I didn't inquire about any upgrade and wasn't offered any. Got up to the room and... more

Last year we stayed at the Mirage and the Luxor. This year we wanted somewhere cheaper than the Mirage but did not want to pay too much, so we chose this hotel. Having seen it last year we were prepared for the over-the-top castle theme, but this is Vegas right? You need to get into the spirit of it to... more

My wife and I wanted a cheap vacation and with the rates right now in Vegas it was possible. This was my third time to Vegas. I have previously stayed at Ballys and the Stratosphere. The Excalibur was probably my least favorite because it is old, corny, and just not nice. I upgraded to the Widescreen room, which is a... more

Despite it's dated look, the property and casino is clean and manageable. Location is perfect, walkways to Luxor and the New York New York and the Tropicana is good perfect. Upkeep on cleaning is tough as troughs of people go through this property easily. Overall it's a good bargain and near to everything. Stay here to enjoy a good night's... more

Getting a little dated now but still got all the bells and whistles and has the basic format of most strip hotels. Ask for a high floor room as they have best views and are quieter. more

Great with the kids due to the Fantasy Fair. Smoking was a huge issue for us, once out of the lift all you could smell was smoke from the Casino. The kids pool was closed the whole time we were there as it was out of season but this wasn't stated on the web site when booking. Rooms very small,... more

This hotel SUCKS. My friends and I flew into Vegas at 9am. We got to our hotel at 10. We were told that we had to wait in till 3:30pm to get into our room. After signing in the hotel charges you a 7.50 resort fee for every night that you stay. The room and holes and dents in the... more

Stayed here for 5 nights while on vacation in Vegas. Was on floor 26 which had a nice view and decent elevator access. The rooms haven't changed much since we were here 1 1/2 years ago but the place is fine. Good service and checkin/out was easy. For the money you can't beat it. more

Excalibur Well I'm a proud Welshman and I could go on forever in letting you know how VERY WRONG they got the King Arthur element here!!! But let's stick to the facts. I've stayed in Vegas quiet a few times and this is a family orientated three star hotel. Obviously below the Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian etc or the MGM &... more
