Hotel is only 4 stories tall, never had to wait long for the elevator. You can hear other people in their rooms, especially in the room above. My recent overnight stay at the Golden Nugget was very pleasant. The room (2 queens) was good sized and very clean. The hotel is located in the thick of things along the river walk, not isolated like Harrah's to the south. If you get a riverview room, get one as far south as possible as the riverviews on the rooms... more
