recently stayed at the Pioneer, had a great room, house keeper was very good. Lots of hot water, TV worked well, bed comfortable but most of all the view of the river was terrific. Would definitely stay again, ask for a river view. Definitely worth it. More

Let me say, I have not been to Laughlin since I was a child so I didn't really know what to expect. I was so happy to have chosen the Pioneer, I immediately loved the old west feel of the hotel and they make some pretty darn good drinks at Sassy Sue's, which they also do late night karaoke and... Rooms start at $25. We paid an extra $25. for a deluxe room. The carpets were dirty, the dresser drawers had pieces of wood missing and there were pieces of 2X4's and plywood sticking out from under the box springs. No coffee makers, no hair dryers and no clocks. If that is their version of Deluxe, I'd hate to see... More

When we first arrived a hotel guest was asking when the water was going to be turned back on! In our room we had water but it was cold. What's going on? After 2 days of no hot (or even warm) water, we got another room that actually had warm water - not hot! I thought stuff like that didn't... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Pioneer. The river view was great and enjoyed watching the birds with our morning coffee. The meal and service at Grannies was wonderful. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Laughlin. More

We were supposed to stay here 2 nights. Thank goodness we changed that before we arrived. The exterior is cute, it looks like an old Western gambling saloon. The rooms are more like a motel, as they are several long building, and all rooms have doors leading to the outside. Our room was pretty bad. The decor is gaudy, outdated,... More

We recently stayed at the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall while up in Laughlin watching the trophy truck races. The front desk was extremely friendly at check-in (Sam). The rooms are average, but a great deal for the rate we got. I was also pretty impressed with how we got 62 channels on the TV. They had bed-bug protector casing... More

Staff was friendly and the hotel and casino had a friendly vibe to it kind of like and old western town. We really liked the casino it was again like the way it used to be in Vegas. We were enjoying the vibe until we un-locked the door to our room. We stayed with our dog. We would ask for another... Our motel room stunk of smoke and the blankets had cigarette burns. The ice machine was also broken. The view of the river was nice, but the only reason to stay at this casino is if you get comped a free room. More

Ethan and I got a pet room for $39 and that included all fees and taxes. However, you do need $100 refundable cash deposit and there was not the least hassle in getting it back. The lady that did my reservations was super nice and both ladies at the front desk were friendly and talkative. PLUS, I got to check... More
