HORRIBLE!!! Do not waste your time or money. Go to Lake Mead Marina instead. We had heard that Echo Bay was less busy than Lake Mead Marina, so we decided to check it out. We typically rent the 10 person pontoon boat out of Lake Mead Marina, so we decided that's what we would rent from Echo Bay. We made... More

If you expect a 5 star place out in the middle of the desert, this is not the place for you. Go to Vegas. This place is more of a get away. It is now under new management. I hear that it is much better than a year ago. The lake is dropping like my stock portfolio. What did you... More

While driving from the North Rim to Vegas, we had a free night. Though we passed the Best Western in Overton, we were very intriqued in the Echo Bay Resort, 24 miles down the road. After going on dirt, gravel and paved roads, we reached Echo Bay. Lobby was not adequately air conditioned (111 degrees) and the staff seemed to... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were better than I'd have expected based on the cost of the rooms. The Marina and boats were perfect for the kind of trip I wanted. The bar/restaurant staff was fun and a pleasure. It's certainly not the Four Seasons but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great value for... More

Stopped here overnight while boating on Lake Mead. This is a Seven Crowns Resort and they are notorious for not spending money to keep their properties up. Dirty, overpriced, drunks all over the marina. Just not worth it -even if free.

We stayed at the Echo Bay resort on 9/18/08 - 9/22/08 in Rooms 107, 108, 106, 105, 109, 110. Room 107 had Scorpion in the room. Room 108 had cock roaches in the bathroom and bed bugs. Room 105 was dirty and bed bugs chewed up my son butt and back of his legs, confirmed by a docotr visit. The... More

Do not stay in this place it is filthy. We stopped here to survey whether we wanted to stay, on our way back to Las Vegas. The grounds are in desperate need of care, the paint on the hotel is old and worn, the restaurant is absolutely filthy with flies circling your dining table, rude servers, food that is wayyyyy... We stopped here on the way to Hoover Dam from Valley of Fire State Park and found it quite nice. It's a very small community (if you want to even call it that). I won't say that the gentleman that seated us was warm, friendly and welcoming, (more like out of sorts and grumpy), but we had a nice meal... More

I lived and worked at Echo Bay for nearly 4 years. My experiences were unforgettable and the people I met have enhanced my life. Larry Ewing was General Manager while I was there and treated me with respect and was encouraging in all aspects of my life and work. The resort and Marina are wonderful places to base yourself in... Well what can I say..... Echo Bay at lake mead is great, if you love white trash, beer drinking freaks. The people in the trailor park there are from all walks of life. The three families in charge are the Gallaghers, the Currys and the Howards. They have been there forever and have no plans of leaving. The Marina is... More
