I usually skimp when it comes to hotel rooms but decided to splurge this time since I was attending a family event that was to be held at this hotel. So this wasn't my usual Best Western experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't get the call to ask if the room was all right and we only got... more

Siena provides all the amenities that allows the traveller, whether vacationing or on business to feel pampered. The atmosphere is pleasant, the rooms are so comfortable with superb bedding, (the special treat they leave for you at night adds a nice touch!), the staff is courteous and professional, the coffee shop, Contrada, offers a nice selection and fine dining restaurant,... more

My wife and I stayed here purely by chance -- were driving through Reno and needed a place to stay, and this one was easy to park at. I wanted to get a jetted tub for my wife, so we asked for a suite. The lowest-price suite was sold out, so we got the next one up. A bit pricey... more

We wanted a quiet hotel and chose the Siena based on its location and size--small, compared with Harrahs, etc. Turned out to be the perfect choice for us. We stayed in a king room, overlooking the river--about five minutes after we walked into the room we received a call from the front desk making sure we were satisfied with the... more

Stayed July 30 2008, had a terrific experience. Great location on the river. Smallish, boutique hotel. Restaurant meal was fantastic and reasonably priced, great service- accomodating to my kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best thing was the rooms- large, tasteful, bathroom looked newly remodeled with marble countertops and shower surrounds, bed was comfy. I don't love Reno but if... more

The good. 1.Nightly turn-down of the beds. 2.Nightly treat left on the night stand. (chocolate covered stawberries, tarts, etc.) 3.The shower head is tall enough that I didn't have to get on my knees to wash my hair. (6'3") 4.It was quiet. 5.The bed was comfortable. 6.The maids weren't knocking on the door at 8:00 a.m. trying to make up... more

Stayed here 3 nights on business. This was my choice of where to stay when on business in Reno. I have stayed here since it opened 7-8 years ago. But now its starting to show its age, carpets stained, linens worn etc. Customer service has always just been ok and I put up with it because I liked the hotel.... more

Hotel smells like an ash tray- especially if staying on a lower floor. The smell of the casino caries up to about the 4th floor. The Casino is full of local gambleaholics who mostly look like homeless people. I don't get what makes it a boutique hotel- the linens and room amenities were all pretty much something you could find... more

We actually didn't stay overnight at this resort...we were just visiting for the first time. My husband and I signed up for the rewards card and were given $10 in free slot play as new members. We had brunch in the Contrada Cafe that overlooked the Truckee river. It was amazing to see fishermen, kayakers, tubers and snorkelers just outside... more

As a long time gambling patron of this property - even before it was the Siena, I was comped a room at $59 per nite, next nite free. Made a last minute reservation for our first time staying here and asked if an upgrade was possible - it was for no additional charge. Arrived and asked if we could upgrade... more
