I stayed here with my teenage son for three nights in late June, in the east tower. It was my first time in Reno and first time at a Harrah's hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. Got a midweek rate that was a great bargain. Our room was clean, comfortable, and there was some character in the way it was... more

I always enjoy Harrahs, wheather i go to Las Vegas or Reno, i always stay at Harrahs. The hotel in both cities are nice and when i went to visit Reno for a week, i booked Harrahs without question. I checked the website about 4 months before traveling this past june and they had rooms in the older part of... more

We spent two nights at Harray's Reno in the West Tower. This is the third time that we have stayed at the hotel. I like the location. It is central to most everything in downtown Reno. Starbucks on the second level takes care of my morning breakfast needs even though it is more expensive than a "real" Starbucks (and doesn't... more

I stayed at Harrah's approximately ten times in the past 8 months for business, as it was my company's preferred Reno Hotel (mostly due to its downtown location). Both towers are underwhelming. Everything reeks of cigarette smoke. It is very dated. High Speed Wireless is not free, and some rooms do not have coffee makers. But, it's not set up... more

We booked & PAID our accomodations (2 rooms with 2 beds for 4 people) 6 months in advance for a bowling trip to Reno. We paid the extra money for rooms in the West Tower (the newer rooms). and requested adjoining rooms because one traveler was handicapped and would need assistance. We were told to call the hotel one week... more

We stay at Harrah's Reno annually, the comps are great, this time was perhaps the best stay yet, and like I said, we stay alot. We checked in expecting the East Tower, we lucked out and got West Tower instead, the check in girl was REALLY nice and went out of her way to get us the West Tower, on... more

A friend and I spent 4 nights at Harrah's recently and we had no complaints about our stay. We stayed in the East tower 1 night then switched for the coffee pot in the West tower. Both were very nice rooms, but we did like the West slightly more for the furry lampshade and the coffeepot! Not sure why the... more

This is our 10th anniversary for my family and friends to gather together to celebrate Kentucky Derby Day...we have done the derby twice, Vegas twice, Reno twice and other years celebrated at my brother's home in Kentucky. This year we decided to do Tahoe so we flew into Reno. We stayed at Harrah's on our way through Reno to Lake... more

We stayed at Harrah's because we were running the Marathon with the start and finish right outside their door. The hotel is smokey and generally run-down. The linens in our bedroom had brown smudges on them one day and a drop of dried blood on the top covers on another day, which grossed me out. We called Housekeeping and they... more

Checked into our room on a Thursday, no waiting! Glad we didn't check in any other day/time because we saw huge line-ups to check in throughout our stay! (We stayed Thursday through Tuesday) Had a room in the East Tower - don't stay in the East Tower! It's like the "value section" of the hotel. You could not get a... more
