i Had to wait twenty minutes in the hallway for a new key because the one they gave me didn't work. I am currently using a walker and could not stand. Guess what, no chairs in the hall way. . PUT CHAIRS IN HALLWAY ! I had to get a wheelchair. Luckily my husband was with me. Couldn't get a... more

We checked in really late after 11pm. We reserved two rooms with one king bed and two double beds each the lowest price on Harvey website. We were told the two beds were sold out and our rooms can not be together but will be upgraded. To our pleasant surprise, the two beds was upgraded to an awesome lake view... more

I'd reserved a lakeview room, smoking, one king bed, but it had been booked as a non-smoking. The change gave us a smoking, parking facility view with 2 queen beds, but you could see the lake if you looked left out of the window. Upon returning the first evening, we found someone else's luggage in our room, which was promptly... more

Having read the reviews, we picked this hotel as it was close to the Heavenly Gondola for skiing and it was also in the midst of all the apres-ski fun too. Although the next-door Harrah's was more upmarket, these rooms were much better value for money, and could enjoy the same facilities as they are owned by the same company.... more

Our room was a deluxe room on the 10th floor and didn't expect there to be such an amazing view as others had said you needed to be higher up. We could see 180 degrees from the lake round to the Heavenly gondola slopes with the clever corner windows at each room. The room itself was massive, and the bathroom... more

My sister and I stayed at Harvey's the weekend of Jan 10th. The hotel was so nice and staff was unbelievably friendly. The rooms are super-nice with new decor. The hotel staff and casino staff were so friendly. I wasn't sure how to react to such great service, as it is so hard to find in other places. We ate... more

Stayed two nights mid week with teens. Staff was polite and helpful, but seemed distracted. Arrived at 7pm - Free up grade to Deluxe room with free rollaway bed, because there was no Non Smoking room availible for me in the type I had reserved via Bookit. It took almost 2 hours for the room to be ready but it... more

We stayed at Harvey's in suite, which they do not sell in advance as they reserve them for their Platinium members, which were not. You have to ask for the upgrade if it is available when you arrive at the Hotel/Casino. So we booked the room by walking up to the front desk and asking for one. The rate was... more

We were in South Lake Tahoe for my brother's wedding over July 4th weekend. First, we ended up at a terrible hotel and called Harvey's directly. To my suprise we got the room comped and it was lovely! We had signed up for a players club card in Las Vegas and didn't know the hotel was property of Harrah's. We... more

I was headed to Reno for a week and decided to stay a couple nights in Tahoe. Thru the Harrahs website and my Total Rewards Card, I was able to stay 2 nights free in a Lake Tower Premium Room. The only thing about this room that was Premium was the view. We were above the tree line, facing the... more
