Notchland is indeed a charming inn and we loved our stay--however, walking on the grounds to view the pond or gardens is like walking through a mind field full of dog poop. You take your life in your hands-and some of it was very fresh so watch out if you like to stroll the grounds. Everything else was delightful. more

the notchland inn is our favorite B and B by far. we found in years ago looks for a good base camp for hiking, and now come back year round. we ski in the winter and otherwise hike. the breakfasts and yummy and plentiful - you can order from a pretty big menu. the 5 course dinner is to die... more
