My wife and I stayed at the Chippanock Inn in late August 2003. We liked the hospitality so much that we brought our 4 children for a one night stay in early October to check out the foliage. The building is old and of wood frame construction and it could use a new coat of paint which was of little concern to us. The new owners (since June 2003) Jerry and Dee are really working hard to whip the old place into shape. Having stayed in three different rooms, I can say that the bedrooms and the bathrooms are clean, neat and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water and extra blankets if you need them. Both the dinning room and parlor are large and have a kind of homey feel about them. But it is the owners of this place, Jerry and Dee and their hospitality that really makes a visit to the Chippanock very nice. From the moment you walk in the door, they are at your service.
