This inn represents the best of staying at a bed and breakfast. The inn keeper Mary is young, energetic and extremely friendly. The breakfasts are terrific. The beds are comfortable with high quality linens. This place isn't fusty. The building is from a time past with terrific history. The town of Bethlehem is really cute and its a great gateway... I have to admit that we don't usually stay in B & B's, but if we knew that they were all as good as the Mulburn Inn I think that we would change the habits of a lifetime! We stayed here for one night at the end of the 'leaf peepers season' and were made very welcome by the owner,... More

My family of 20 (10 adults and 10 childern) spent three nights here celebrating my 80th birthday. It was perfect. The innkeeper, Mary Moritz was so hospitable, and charming. Could not do enough for us. The property is historic and so well furnished and cared for. Definitely 5-star. Len Reed More

The Mulburn was the highlight of our trip- and one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in!!! The Inn is very elegant and Mary is just the perfect host. She gets everything spot on- friendly and willing to engage in conversation without being in your face. Mary is keen to meet all your requests and goes out of... More

Stayed two nights during the end of fall foliage season. Positive experience all around from the quick replies to emails to the easy check-out. Highlights include her obvious enthusiasm for the house and its history, the beautiful original stained glass windows, appropriate period decor without that overly frilly Victorian look, a small discount for a minor inconvenience for which she... Most impressive house, full of character and history. Mary made us feel very welcome, and her cooking was the best of our trip. (And on the day of our visit to the cog railway she even got up extra early to make us breakfast). Oh, and let's not forget the plates of fresh-baked cookies always left out for her guests... More

I very much enjoyed my recent stay at the Mulburn Inn. It's a beautiful old home, beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding! The hostess is welcoming and gracious, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a classic B&B experience. More

The house was sumptuous and the best communal spaces of anywhere we stayed in New England. Furnishing was in keeping with the spirit of the property and Mary was so knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the breakfasts as well. More

First, the inn (really a mansion) itself is amazing -- once the "summer cottage" for the Woolworth family -- you can easily imagine the famous (Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe) enjoying the peace and quiet there. What really makes the place unique is how "at home" Mary makes you feel there. Some B n Bs can be so "stuffy." The historic... More

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Mulburn Inn very much. We were not very luck with the weather (constant rain so no hiking as planned), but the very friendly and helpful "Inn Sitter" that kept the place running when the owner was away for a few days was so sweet and had good tips what we could do...
