We return to The Highlands year after year, when we need to get away from our stressful lives. The innkeeper makes us feel so welcome. The rooms are small but comfortable, and all have the basic necessities, including private bathrooms, hairdryers, and air conditioning. For starters, if you didn' t know, the Highlands Inn is a lesbian women's only inn. My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the inn. We enjoyed our second stay with the women of Highlands Inn. It was a relaxing get away. We enjoyed great breakfasts, charming hosts, fantastic snow shoeing, and were surprised by a lovely music concert on saturday night by Emily Nyman and her partner Lynn. We will return again and recommend this place for a great women's retreat. more
