Does what it says on the tin! Clean, comfortable, spacious but not exciting. Breakfast was OK. more

I checked into this hotel late in the evening. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk, so I had to call them to get them to come to check me in. I should have left then....The attendant was not very helpful and acted put out that she had to work. The lobby smelled bad. I was... more

Management saved on real estate costs when it purchased the site for this hotel. It lies between a railroad track (perhaps unused) and the main superhighway running through Concord. You can walk to the quaint downtown area, but through a neighborhood that quickens your step. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained with adequate help from an indifferent staff.... more

During our relocation to Concord NH from Wilmington NC, I really wanted to stay at this hotel while my household goods were in transit. Understanding that the hotel does not accept pets, I explained my situation to the manager Patty who graciously allowed my well behaved dachshund (Gretel) to stay with us for the 4 days. At our request, she... more

A perfectly nice motel, with pleasant staff. Breakfast on the weekend was nothing special (hard-boiled eggs were the treat for Sunday) but was convenient. The bathtub surface was very slippery so I avoided using the shower. Look for the "lodging" sign at the entrance to the Common Man Restaurant and drive between the "dining" and "event" parking lots to the... more

Spent one night at the Fairfield in Concord. The hotel is along the Interstate, and in my Interstate-facing room, I could easily hear some highway traffic, but it wasn't terrible. The room was good sized with plenty of TV selections and comfortable bedding. There was cookies, bottled water, and warm beverages (coffee, tea, etc) in the lobby during the evening,... more

Won this room through Priceline. Stayed 4 nights, room had a queen bed, sofa, chair, free SLOW wi-fi, room on top (3rd floor) and faced the highway. No noise from outside but some noise could be heard from inside. Mostly quiet but I could hear children running up and down the hallway and although on the top (3rd floor), it... more

Stayed here two nights on a vacation trip. As other reviewers noted, hotel is a bit hard to find with just a small lodging sign pointing to its location. Room was nice and clean, breakfast above average. Front desk staff very friendly. Check in was very fast. First time I encountered a paperless check in with nothing to do but... more

My family stayed here for one night in June 2008. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. There was bottled water and cookies waiting for customers at check-in. Our room had 2 double beds. Why hotels continue to furnish rooms with double beds instead of queen beds is beyond me. However, the staff provided a cot at no charge.... more
