We stayed here one night as a last minute trip. We had a late arrival (11pm), our key along with a paper to sign was at the front desk when we arrived. When we went to check out the next morning, the envelope with our signature was still sitting on the counter and before we identified ourselves, she pointed to... more

From the outside the inn looked very nice. The reception areas as well as the restaurant were recently redecorated. That was not the case of our rooms - #24 and #27. Both rooms definitely need to be spruced up – woodwork chipped and damaged, furniture not state of the art (run-down). These rooms have not been redecorated in ages! The... more

We love New Hampshire and the Franconia Inn is a beautiful inn. The morning breakfast was the absolute best of our entire trip in New England. The problem is with the customer service, especially the front desk staff. We travel with our adult developmentally disabled daughter. I explained this and asked for a small folding table of some sort for... more

We spent three nights at the Franconia Inn, eating in the restaurant on all three evenings. Check-in was carried out in an efficient and friendly manner. We were allocated a very spacious and nicely furnished ground floor room: the bed was most comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise from either rooms above or adjoining. We found the public... more

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, but it would seem the little things are being overlooked or ignored at the Franconia. Upon making our reservation phone call, the person answering the phone sounded as if they would rather be doing anything else other than helping me reserve a room. I am voluntarily offering you my hard earned money -... more

I want to be careful with the choosing of my words with this review because the Inn does look like its' photos: Quaint, charming and quiet location however once inside we found the comfort of our room was not quite up to par with the many other inn and B&B's we have stayed in. The Inn does have a lot... more

We were pleasantly surprised to find this inn has so much to offer. Along with clean, cozy rooms expect to find a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bikes, a game room, hiking trails, a riding stable and even a glider field. The location is perfect for skiing, Robert Frost's home, Appalachain Trail & a cog railroad to name just a... more

My boyfriend and I spent a summer weekend at the Franconia Inn. Registration was quick and efficient. Our room was great - we had a lovely view of the mountains and the bed was so comfortable that were tempted to stay in it all weekend. But we did partake in the riding and mountain biking on the premises, which were... more

This is our second time staying at the Franconia Inn, and have to say we had a great time. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. There isn't much to do at the inn, would suggest that there be some kind of schedule activities each day. The property is beautiful. Very relaxing, just sitting on the porch.... more

We (husband, daughter and son-in-law) stayed at the Inn over the weekend after Christmas. There are a lot of charming aspects of the Inn, the rooms were lovely, the grounds are beautiful, and we all loved the fact that there were no phones or t.v.s in the rooms. The dining experience was not good, the service was terrible, we had... more
