We only got to stay for 1 night, but will be back. Everything was wonderful. The ambiance, the hiking, the food, the service and the cleanliness. Everyone was so enthusiastic even though I am sure they have heard the questions more than a hundred times. We really felt that we got excellent value along with a friendly atmosphere. more
Stayed one night here after spending three nights out in the AMC huts on the trails from Crawford Notch to Appalachia trailhead (near Gorham NH). I had stayed here several years before and loved the atmosphere. What a gem, lovely clean (small) bunk rooms, great friendly staff, fanstatic food, everything you'd want to support you exploring the white mountains. more

I stayed at Joe Dodge Lodge with my three kids. It was fabulous! A great experience. Having done some of the AMC huts that was what I expected, but not what I got. There was a library, a social room more for adults (very grownup ambiance, grand piano and huge fireplace) but downstairs was a "family area". The family area... more
