Robert and Nancy are the best hosts. They are always warm and friendly and are very genuine. Both Robert and Nancy make you feel as if you are returning home after an extended leave of absence. The warm and romantic atmosphere of the inn makes it the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.... more

We recently went on the most magical trip to Hancock, NH where we stayed at the wonderful Hancock Inn. We enjoyed snow, snow, SNOW! All I can say is WOW--we had a fantastic time & can't wait to go back! We stayed 2 nights(Sat/Sun). It was snowing hard off & on all day Sunday, and the innkeepers Robert & Nancie... more

With our children grown & gone, we decided to head to a bed & breakfast for Thanksgiving. Are we ever glad we did! The Hancock Inn had been recommended by friends for serving excellent meals, and Thanksgiving was a true feast! The portions were HUGE--just about everyone we saw(who had come to eat, but not to stay) left with a... more

We stay in several inns/B &B's each year and this one does not live up to Select Registry standards. I feel they are coasting on the reputation of their dinner menu, specifically the acclaimed cranberry pot roast. Perhaps the inn merits a one night stay for those who are interested in the outstanding restoration of "New Hampshire's oldest inn" but... more

What a lovely Inn and Robert was a great host. Despite the fact it was a Sunday and we knew in advance the restaurant would not be open because of the weather and the fact we did not know the area Robert asked if we would like some of his acclaimed pot roast so that we didn't have to venture... more

We had a really delightful stay here. Not even the discovery that we had booked for the two nights the restaurant is closed -Sunday and Monday - could spoil our stay. The Inn is beautiful. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Contrary to a previous reviewer, we thought the breakfast was great - just about anything you might expect... more

Booked a last minute weekend getaway - and was pleased to find a hidden gem in a small town in New Hampshire! This Inn was built in the late 1700s - and has been lovingly restored - the most recent restoration (according to the owners) was the removal of paint from the floors - revealing lovely wide pine plank floors... more

My husband and I recently visited Hancock, NH and stayed at the Hancock Inn. The Innkeepers were nice and we enjoyed playing with their dog, Bailey. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was disappointing. Nothing special about them. Just your typical eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, cereal and muffins. Toast was served to us burnt. Don't expect a gourmet breakfast.... more
