The village at loon is located directly across from loon mountain. You must take a shuttle but it runs continuously which deposits you right at the desired mountain location. Most rooms are condos but we rent a specific one called whaleback unit which is privately owned. We have rented several others and depending upon the owners the quality varies tremendously.... More

Stayed in two bedroom for ski vacation with teenagers. Location was great being across street from slopes. Able to cook all meals which definitely helps with budget. Unit was older with large bedroom below and smaller bedroom above. Main level has kitchen and dining/sitting area. Did not use sports/swim area so cannot provide feedback.

I love loon and would recommend it with no hesitations. It is a beautiful place to go hiking in the spring/ summer and a magnificent place to go snowboarding/ skiing safe non crowded slopes the breakfast places all have local maple syrup and hot flapjacks before you have a great day out on the slopes!

The resort is off the highway & feels secluded w/trees surrounding a large parking lot. The older 3-story buildings overlook the pools, tennis courts, & mountains. We had a 1 bedroom. It was clean and very roomy. The fireplace was so relaxing after a day of hiking! The king size bed was comfortable but the quilt was a little weak. the kitchen had everything we needed. I cant comment on any of the activities except the pool.
