We had a family reunion here and it turned out really well. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The meal plan (dinner and breakfast for $28) is helpful when you have a large group. The food is good and there are a variety of choices. The rooms are just basic hotel rooms, but they are clean. We went... more

I cameto this motel for the second time. The check in was fine. I requested a cot since I was travelling with two friends. the cot was waiting in the room for us. I thought the meal plan was a little steep. It included an entree from the menu and a breakfast for $28. If you pay on your own... more

Woodwards is PERFECT for families. We have visited Woodwards for the past eight years and have never had any problems. The staff is top notch! I love the rustic feel of the place, but still has plenty of modern amenities. It's a very laid back resort and is best suited for the laid back person. It's in the perfect location.... more

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of New England coach tour. Got room in the back area by the pool, the facilities in the room were fine with tea /coffee maker, the cleanliness and space were more than adequate. The staff were amongst the friendliest I have come across. Being with a coach and restricted to eating on the... more

I have been staying a Woodward’s for many years and enjoy the grounds and staff. We usual stay near the indoor/outdoor pool. But, this vacation - we decided to stay in the motels room, which are right next to the main dining and breakfast rooms. The rooms are OLD and need major renovations. They are not like the regular rooms... more

This resort was a great deal for the money! The rooms were clean and tidy but need much updating. The carpets in the halls are very old and need to be replaced. The meal plan is definitely worth the money...the food and service were excellent. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and nephew loved the racquetball court.... more

This may have been a real nice place when it was built but it sure is showing it's age, kids enjoyed the trout pond and feeding the ducks. The room looked clean until we looked under the air conditioner and saw the wall and the baseboard covered in mold, not what I expected for $139.00 a night. We attempted to go to... more

My family and I stayed at Woodwards for 2 nights in July. The outside looked ok, but the inside needs some work. The hall carpets were stained in many places, the fan in the small outdated bathroom didn't work. We had a room that backup up to the river - but also to the 4 lane - so it was... more

Woodward's has an excellent staff from resturant to room, family friendly throughout. The room we stayed in was directly across from the resturant (behind) and featured great views of the mountains and the duck pond, very clean, great maid service (neat and spotless). I highly recommend the meal plan when offered, the meals are plentiful, great selection of choices and... more

Check in was okay but people are not friendly at all. Rooms were musty and smelled. Stayed two nights and housekeeping never showed up. Web site says it has a heated outdoor pool, "Woodwards offers a 65' heated outdoor pool which overlooks our duck and trout pond. " IT IS NOT A HEATED OUTDOOR POOL and the pool does not... more
