Stayed for 4 days on for a romantic getaway. Found the check in staff stuffy at best. I found the guests even stuffier (if that's a word). We were blessed with incredible weather- affording us the opportunity to enjoy the views and incredible exterior fall landscaping. Rooms were very large with great views from almost any room. My wife and I are not reluctant to spend money when the value requires it, but $300 per night requires at least a couple of "wow" moments from us, and frankly we really didn't have them in our one night at the Wentworth (we were scheduled for two but cancelled our 2nd night and stayed in the much more affordable... more

Love this place! From the moment you valet park your car to the time you leave, was perfect! The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Very nicely kept, the room was clean (I am very particular!), the food was outstanding, the spa was the best and the charm was second to none. We absolutely loved it here. Nothing is missed.... more

Very accomodating staff. Plenty of room on porches, bar, restaurant, pool, walkways, etc. The spa was great, and the tennis courts very nice. The gardens are beautiful and also has nice walking paths. I would definitely return. more

I stayed at Wentworth by the Sea with my wife as sort of a second honeymoon. Overall we were disappointed. While the view was spectacular (if obscured a bit by power lines) the room and service were mediocre. The bathroom sink was plugged and it took 2 days to get someone to look at it. What a beautiful and historic resort! Can't say enough about the gorgeous view from my corner room at the southwest end of the building. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was delicious, but was unimpressed with menus for lunch and dinner. Took most meals in town (Dolphin Striker, Oarhouse, Jumpin' Jack's Fish Cafe). Also experienced inconsistent housekeeping service. more
