Take a beautiful drive and end up at this picturesque Inn. There were fly fishing lessons on the lawn in front (not associated with the Inn) when I arrived. It is an old building (and the internet signal is weak) but that adds to the character. The bathroom amenities are extremely high quality. Bed is perfect and the windows open!... More

I've stayed at the New London Inn 4 or 5 times now and I can report that the rooms and service are always consistently excellent. It's an old building, so don't expect modern rooms, but the beds are comfortable and the climate controls in each room work well and are accurate(one of my pet peeves...can't stand rooms where the thermostats... The Inn is one of only a few options if you want to stay "in" New London. Be prepared to pay a 50% deposit in advance when you make your reservation and prepay your remaining balance upon check in. This is the only place in the WORLD that has ever charged me in advance. It is a take it or... More

We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess who checked us in and showed us to our room. We found the Inn to be very pet friendly. The room was clean and found it to have ample space with a Queen and double bed. We were all very happy with the Breakfast the next day. Bacon, Eggs, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit... More

We've passed through New London quite a few times and seen the Inn from the street. When an opportunity for a Saturday overnight presented itself, we thought we'd give it a try. We were in a 3rd floor double with standard bath. There's no elevator--walk up. The bed was very comfortable; everything was clean; no special decor or furnishings. The... More

we arrived at the New London in and were impressed by the lovely old structure in a prime location on Main Street. We were spending the night, and werelooking forward to having my elderly Uncle and Aunt join us for dinner. As we entered the Inn the apathetic young lady at the desked asked our name then proceeded to immediately... More

It is a new england inn not a modern hotel. Go for the charm. Rink outdoors, breakfast buffet was good we would have liked more choices. The area is quaint and this inn fits the location, we will go back.

I stayed in the New London Inn on a business trip to Colby-Sawyer College, which is a few blocks away. The inn is set in a typical, picturesque New England town. The building dates from the late 18th century, which gives it a certain elegant charm. The room I stayed in (#1) had a small bedroom and adjoining sitting room... More

This New Years Eve My husband and I wanted to ring in the New Year together, a Time to reflect and reconnect! We live in the Lake Sunapee area, and did not want to venture to far from home. We decided to stay at the New London Inn, and we are so glad we did! We have often passed the... More

We stayed at the New London Inn over the New Year holiday and were very disappointed. This is everything you hope an inn would not be. Very unaccommodating - couldn't even get a drink after skiing. Heat didn't work and no one bothered to explain that there were 2 thermostats. Wprst of all, we paid for the jacuzzi suite which... More
