The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was pleasantly furnished and the bed comfortable. There was a microwave in the lobby available until late. Coffee etc was available, free, in the morning. It is less than half a mile from the town centre. more

This is an inexpensive, basic motel. It is better than one would expect from the bargain prices. It is an independent, family-run motel which is definitely better than the cheap chains. The Colonial Motel may not be the most modern of the hotels we stayed in but it was very clean and the facilities were most adequate. What relly impressed us was the helpfulness of management, confirming what we had read on Tripadvisor. We would certainly stay there again. more
