We went sightseeing in North Conway and headed north to Mt. Washington. We found our stay to be comfortable, the help was courteous and our breakfast was excellent. First the good points. I'm grateful the Yankee Clipper allowed a one-night stay on Columbus Day weekend. An aging motel. Our room, numbered 114, developed an overpoweringly stench several times during the night, waking us up and keeping us up for about 30 minutes until the smell dissipated. Parking lot lights were not totally blocked at night by the curtains. more

We were on a mini road trip vacation of the North East.
