My husband and I were wanting to escape for a weekend to an indoor water park. I googled to see if there were any in New England, and Kahuna Laguna/Red Jacket Resort was the first entry. It seemed like a perfect match: fun water park and in the White Mountains. We were expecting a huge water park (like those we're... more

I have mixed emotions regarding our recent stay at this North Conway hotel. The rate did include the new water park which is impressive (not quite to the scale of Lake George's Great Escape Indoor Water Park) but still filled with many activities. The park is new, clean and much fun for kids. The rooms, on the other hand are in... more

We have been going to the Red Jacket for years and were anxiously awaiting the opening of the new water park. We tried to book previously, but were told that the water park entrance was an extra $40.00 per person, so we passed. We waited until water park tickets were included with the room (we paid $229.00/night). I don't know... more

i am a fifty yr.old woman and my husband is 53, with adult sons. to stay at the Red Jacket now with the new indoor water park is annoying to say the least. there are no peaceful moments in the hotel.maybe parents are not telling their children not to run and scream down hallways. i don't know.the once lovely huge... more

Thier were four big water slides a kiddie area with slides, a wave pool which we thought was alot of fun. In the wave pool... more

My family just returned from a weekend stay and I would like to say that my twelve year olds enjoyed the water park and game room. What I would like to say is there appears to be a heavy fee surrounding this and the clerks must certainly be "commissioned" because there is a lot of nickel and diming when it... more

We've been coming here for years because it's a great place for the kids (esp the Alcove or Loft rooms!) so when we heard the water park was opening we booked for Feb/school vacation week. WHAT A WASTE! For almost $500 a night, the park is not more than a few slides a small wave pool that the kids can... more

This was the tenth Thanksgiving we have spent at the Red Jacket, and unfortunately is probably the last. When our family first started visiting the Red Jacket around Thanksgiving, the place was a bustling, charming hotel with a family feel. We loved the manager's reception before Thanksgiving and of course the beautiful holiday decorations that went up the day after.... more

We booked through expedia, about $150 a night for mountain view. For North Conway defenitely a "resort" style property set on a large piece of land, unlike most other hotels of the area. Check in and service was very friendly, we got a VCR/DVD player installed after we asked. Rooms and hotel are somewhat dated, but expected for a rural... more
