Hi, we stayed on a $99.00 e-mail weekend special. Well worth the money. Renovations over the last 8 years are noticed, improving in each yr we visit. Richard, Peter, Robin and Juliette are amazing staff!!! Hospitality to the max!! First time we encountered problems, but they were immediately taken care of, in minutes!! Great afternoon reception!! We stayed last weekend and had a great time. Robin, at the front desk, was so nice. We entered late, candles were lit, fire going and wine and cheese out for us. We have stayed several times. Always clean with great amenities. Location is close to attractions in the White Mtns. and outlet shopping. Pleasant atmosphere in a 200 plus year old inn. Great breakfast. Nice people. more

This property was built in 1773! so it has uneven floors etc. all of which added to its charm. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room, offered cheese, biscuits and a choice of tea, cider (non - alcoholic) and wine, it was most welcoming. After visiting I can only assume people who think this is a “friendly” “home from home” must live in old, functional and poorly maintained houses that they share with monosyllabic people. My wife and I recently stayed at the Isaac Merrill House. We loved it!. Our room was very clean with a beautiful wood floor and an excelllent flat screen TV.
