I just returned to the Inn at Christian Shore for the second time this March. The Innkeeper is such a great lady, she makes you feel so at home and is knowledgeable about the area. I stayed for 2 days, the breakfasts were delicious, and the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated. I'd highly recommend the Inn to anyone... more

The entire inn smelled like cat urine. It was so bad that even on the 2nd floor you could smell it and we almost checked out. Apparently, the woman who owns the place has cats in the basement and they urinated there. The rooms are dingy and the bathroom was dirty, including mold in the grout and hair in the... more

I stayed only one night in this lovely place. :) Your host is very friendly and your room is goergously decorated, big ans spotless clean and soo confortable, morevoer the breakfast was sumptious !:) I strongly recommend this bed and breakfast to anybody visiting Portsmouth:) more

We showed up for a night at this charming inn, but the innkeeper told us that we had booked a room for the preceding Tuesday. She even told us that she had called and left a message about it, but we saw the number in her book, the cell phone we had with us on vacation! She never called. And... more
