The zone is mediocre, not for tourists at all. There was not any decent bar around to take a coffee. The rooms are simple. They have some charm but it was so cold that the next day I was heavily ill with high fever, cough and rheum. The inn was empty, so we changed the room but they were all... More

I was bone tired last Friday night, when I arrived late at the Inn during a snow storm. The owner checked me in, insisted on helping with my bags, then shoed me to my spacious room on the second floor. When I mentioned I needed to be up early the next day, he said the woman on duty at that... More

We were professionally greeted by Sarah, shown our room and given a overview of the area and any questions we had were immediately answered. After taking care of local business, upon our return, we went to the lounge to relax and await our table for dinner. The food was outstanding. we were especially pleased with the efficient service and positive... More

We were pleasantly surprised to have stumbled upon The Tilton Inn. The owner, Allen, greeted us kindly and pleasantly on a busy Saturday night. He graciously showed us the available rooms and they were beautiful - neat, quiet, comfortable, and so cozy! We stayed in the Henry Hudson room which had a pleasant sitting area, gas fireplace and queen size... More

I've been to this pub twice and both times I had the same experience. I went during slow times and both times the service was extremely slow. The first time I went I sat in the pub and never once did someone come ask for my order. After 30 min (yes, 30 min) I went up to the bar myself... More

We traveled with a group of 8 to Laconia Bike Week and picked this inn as our stay not knowing how charming it was, how gracious our host would be, and how good the food is!!! The rooms all have different names and themes and are very quaint, like a bedorom not a hotel room, and clean. The staff was... More

If you're looking for a place to get away from the tuff world and go somewhere where you still feel like home Tilton Inn is the place to go. As a flight attendant for a major airline in the UK, I am experienced in judging hotel environments. I found the staff to be warm and welcoming while the accommodation is... More

This was a business trip and we wanted quiet, with a touch of luxury. And, of course, we always hope for some quaint history. This wonderful old hotel has it all. New owners Allan and Cathy have turned a 135 year-old hotel into a modern work of art. Starting with The Onion's Pub (Allan is a native Bermudan who has... More
