I received the booking off of Luxury Link, and could not have been happier with the service we received at this hotel. First off, the place was beautiful, and decorated wondefully for the holiday. We arrived on a Friday night, and the place was bustling. Cava awaited us in the bedroom, with a fruit basket, cheese (which was not the... more

We had a wonderful time at this historic inn. We especially were happy to have only paid $429 for a two night stay with 6 course wine pairing dinner from Luxury Link. That goodness for that, because their rack rate is not inexpensive. The rooms are wonderful and tastefully decorated for the period of this property. We arrived the Saturday... more

My husband and I came for a weekend for our anniversary, and the stay couldn't be more pleasant. Starting with the most accomodating check-in concierge (we arrived pretty late and yet him and the manager were so helpful!) We had suite accomodations which had the most comfortable bed, beatiful very cozy interior, charming, really. The highlight of our stay was... more

Once great, this spot has fallen into cold corporate inhospitality. They cater to corporate 'sponsors. Ordinary guests receive the worst rooms, the worst tables, etc. If you are not with a group-- AVOID! more

I am a frequent business traveler and had both eaten and stayed at the Bernards Inn several years ago. The food and service were always wonderful. My husband and I booked a "romantic interlude" stay which disappointed immensely. Our room was nice and the bed comfortable, but everything was "off". A fruit basket included pre-wrapped slices of mediocre cheese, including... more

I stayed at the Bernards Inn for one nite on March 23rd as part of a business trip. The room was very well furnished and clean. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and have no complaints with the stay. In the morning breakfast was included and with a cold buffet that had a great variety. You could also order... more

My husband booked the hotel over the phone - double occupancy. When we arrived, we were shown to a room with a twin bed that was actually smaller than a twin - more like a cot! The hotel was completely booked (they have just 20 or so rooms) and all nearby hotels were booked because of weddings that weekend. We... more

Puh-lease. This place lacks charm in a big way, it is on a busy street, virtually NOTHING to do in Bernardsville but that's hardly the problem here. The Inn is absolutely standard, not special romantic or memorable at all. Now on the good side, the food is fantastic. A really romantic delicious meal so my advice is just make a... more

We were looking for a weekend getaway and a friend told us about the Bernards Inn in Bernardsville, NJ.The Inn is less than an hour from Manhattan and provides old world elegance and charm. The staff is amazing. I've not been treated with such respect and helpfulness in a long time. The restaurant is award winning and has an incredible wine... more
