The inn is in a great location and looks great from the outside. The innkeepers try their hardest in their own way....HOWEVER...it is suprising that the board of heath has not been called. The whole interrior (minus where you eat) is outdated, dirty, and MOST of all the home smells of wet dog, and cat urin!!!!!!OOOOOooooH! The owners live in... more

I booked this place for my parents, but they checked out about two hours after checking in. I walked in with them to help them get checked in. After calling out for someone for about 10 minutes, the owner finally walked out. He was extremely rude, telling us that he was on the phone. He acted as if we were... more

I made a reservation directly with the Seavilla, and when my husband and I showed up, no one answered the door or phone! There were cats all over the porch, and once we found an open side door, we entered to find a dog smell (and an attempt to mask it with a very strong candle), and dogs locked in... more

As soon as we walked through the door, it smelled of wet dogs. The host greeted us, and we went into our connecting room. We were traveling with our 2 1/2 yr old and let me tell you how spooky he thought the place was. When we opened the door to our room, dirty linens and a vaccuum were waiting... more

We found the only vacancy at the Sea Villa on an impetuous trip to Cape May. We were warmly greeted and cared for by the wonderful proprietress Debbie Longstreet. I found the Inn to be old and a bit careworn, but filled with fascinating treasures relevant to the owners interests. I spent time perusing the objects and learned a good... more

We went to Cape May over the weekend. We were only going to stay for the night and decided to stay another night. The was the only place with vacancy and was only $110 a night. When we first walked in it smelled. I knocked on the office door and she yelled for us to get out because of the... more

My husband and I stayed at the SeaVilla over the 4th of July weekend, since it had the only vacancy left at the last minute. The first impression when I walked in was that the place smelled. I can't put my finger on what the smell was, but it was overwhelming (maybe like visiting Grandma's house, when she's put on... more

We visited the Seavilla in early July. It was a very hot weekend. We checked in and found our room to be on the third floor, with no air conditioning. It was unbearable. We were told that there were five baths, however, two of them were outside. There really was one to each floor. Each floor had at least 9... more

We have been staying at the Sevilla for the past 10 years and the current owners are very nice. The breakfasts are wonderful and it is only steps away from the beach! The only problem is that there is no on-site parking. more
