The problems with the Kings Cottage are many, First of all, the property itself is very rundown. The furniture on the very small and tight porch should be thrown out. The Rose Room was the perfect spot for waking and looking out at the ocean without even getting out of bed. Though this review is a little late in coming, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the King's Cottage, in Room 12 back in May 07'. Each time we stay there, we are treated like family. And the breakfasts are just wonderful. And the people who stay there are like us, they keep coming back. It is a house designed by the architect, Furness, so it has a lot of character and has spacious rooms. We always tell people to stay there. more

My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at the King's Cottage in late May of 2009. The hostess', Barbara and Roseanne, were very nice and very helpful. The cottage was full of beautiful antiques.
