Decided on very short notice to book a room here based on a family member's recommendation. What a great choice. Clean rooms. Plenty of room. Very pleasant stay with 17 month son in tow. Charlie the owner took the time to show three room types and we went with a first floor suite with a large sitting area and seperate bedroom. While in Cape May last year, my wife and walked into this hotel just to inquire about rates. For a year, my wife mentioned this place and I finally booked Columbus Day weekend this year. We are currently staying at the Avondale right now and have 1 more day until we check out. I want to book our vacation for next August tomorrow before we check out!!!
