The Bacchus Inn is an amazing and very charming Inn. I have stayed at 9 or 10 other B&B's. This was definitely the best. We stayed here to celebrate my birthday, and will definitely be back. (Hopefully, soon) :-) The owners, John and Lisa have not forgotten anything to make your stay the most pleasant experience. The rooms are very... More

John, the owner, could not be more welcoming. He remembered our phone conversation to the smallest detail. This was a special trip to celebrate a combination of birthday, wedding anniversary and retirement. We had been to several other Cape May B&Bs before , but The Bacchus Inn was much more welcoming & friendly than the others. John was always available... More

Came out to MD to visit my sister to celebrate my birthday; she brought me to the Bacchus Inn as part of the celebration. We had the room at the back, parking right outside our door, a cozy room for the two of us for the four days/three nights we were there. Breakfast each morning was incredible...imagine...two courses each morning... More

My grandparents lived in a Victorian home, so as soon as I walked into the Bacchus it brought back very found memories. My girlfriend and I were quickly met by, John, the owner. We had a room booked, but John told us he had a few rooms open and he gave us our pick. We stayed in a beautiful room... More

After staying two other B&B's in Cape May, we tried out The Bacchus and have made it our home for our annual visit to Cape May - for at least ten years now. Everything is perfect - the rooms and their appointments, the breakfasts and the afternoon wine selections with cheese and cookies, and the company of Lisa and John,... More

Ok- Take a weekend that's plans are up in the air and start scrolling through some overnight hot spots in Cape May. If you're lucky like we were, you'll come across this enchanting inn located just a few blocks from the main shopping district, the beach and close to 3.2 million great places to eat! On Friday I reached John,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Bacchus Inn along with my parents, it was their first time at a B&B. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt very welcomed and at home. The original room I had booked for my parents had a little water damage, and I mean little. However John gave them... More

The inn is on a beautiful street surrounded by other lovely Victorian houses and inns. Sitting on the front porch, I could feel my everyday stresses melt away. The afternoon wine and cheese was better than I expected. Hot mulled wine, fresh homemade cookies, plus a variety of cheeses, fruit and wine. Perfect early evening treat. We did not meet... More

From the minute we arrived to the last second before we left, my wife and I loved the Bacchus Inn! We went to celebrate our second anniversary and had a great time. We booked our stay there based on how nice it looked on line and from our love of wine. The fact that they offered wine and cheese instead... More
