I have stayed here several times and I love it. I have only stayed in the Carriage Housen which is great. The only problem is the shower is entirely too small. Other than that, I would highly recommend it. More

Our group stayed at the Buttonwood Manor for the 3rd straight year for our annual getaway weekend. We book the entire facility. And as usual the Innkeeper and Akwaaba staff was a pleasure to deal with. The breakfasts were delicious and Sabrina did a great job of accommodating our special requests. The owner, Monique, even made a surprise visit on... More

The service was excellent, as was the breakfast. The bed we slept on was very comfortable. My biggest suggestion for improvement is the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny. The shower in our suite was small and awkward to use, as was the bathroom sink. Guest towels needed to be newer and preferably white. Out bathroom was unpainted with only primer... More

I booked Akwaaba by the Sea for my husbands' birthday. It was our first time at a B&B but whatever fears I had were gone the moment we pulled up to the property. We were promptly greeted by Sabrina who is wonderful. She gave us a tour of the lovely property and showed us to our room. We stayed at... More

A very long overdue treat for a busy husband and a "powered-down" wife. And it was a pleasant "re-treat".......truly slowed down and relaxed. Thank you to Lilia. It was a pleasure to have met her, that included comforting us with morning libation, nourishment, and little of personal herself--- it was good and warm and giving. Nice to meet Sabrina and... More

My family and I (nine adults and one adorable toddler) stayed at Akwaaba this past weekend. We were all long-overdue for a much-needed get-away, and Akwaaba was the perfect place to stay for the rest and relaxation that we needed! We stayed in The Buttonwood Manor (the Sophia room) and its carriage house (which houses two large suites), and our... More

Went for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. Met some wonderful people and loved the concept of the bed and breakfast. Food was great with wonderful service. Loved the quaint town of Cape May, and this was my first visit. Very relaxing. Great place to go with friends or family. More

I enjoyed my room, the hospitality, the personal touches and attention to the details. Although I stayed there last year for my anniversary, the owner was there this time. He was friendly, although he and my husband disagreed about the best football teams (in a friendly way). The staff was great. More

I've been to Akwaaba three times now. Each time is unique and leaves me with special memories. The facility is very nice (some antiques which I like) and very open--a lot of light. The rooms are decorated beautifully, and are neat and very clean--the Sophia is my favorite. The host/hostesses are pleasant, helpful, and delightful to talk with-every time!! The... More
