My girlfriend and I recently stayed at The Bedford Inn, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The first thing that we noticed as soon as we walked in was how clean the place smelled. And I don't mean that it smelled like cleaner and disinfectant, I mean it smelled nice and fresh. We stayed in the Lucinda's... More

We were married by the owner Archie Kirk on 8/11/2011. We chose the Wedding Package which included flowers, chocolates in our suite, ceremony, dinner for 2 at the Washington Inn which was spectacular!!! Flower bouquet and boutonniere for my hubby. Archie did a wonderful job, he is runs a great B & B and made us very welcome. A wedding... More

Cape May is beautiful and staying at The Bedford Inn made it more beautiful. The host Archie is very warm and accomadating. The breakfast is exquisite and the decor takes... More

I stayed at the Bedford Inn during a recent trip to Cape May, NJ and must say I really enjoyed myself. First of all the location is fantastic (only 1 short block from the beach). Archie, the Innkeeper, is meticulous and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. The Inn itself is very clean... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights in July 2011. Our room was small but cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the front porch and sitting on the balcony at night. The inn was clean and the breakfasts were great. There was always fresh fruit and baked goods at breakfast. We enjoyed using the outdoor showers... More

My mother and I went to The Bedford Inn for a long weekend in the beginning of July. We stayed in the smallest room offered, aptly described as a "cozy" room. I think it's official name is the Elizabeth Room. Even though the room is on the smaller side, it was large enough for the two of us and our... More

The inn is absolutely beautiful, and Archie is so very accommodating. He is very knowledgeable about Cape May, and he was very helpful. He recommended several fine dining experiences as well as something casual for the first night we got there (it was rather late). The breakfasts were very good; always something a bit unusual (like a french toast casserole... More

We enjoyed our stay at Bedford Inn. The breakfasts were varied and tasty and it was nice to dine on the porch. The second floor porch is lovely also. There was a gourmet coffee maker and trail mix for us on the second floor. It is a block away from the beach and close to many restaurants and taverns. All... More

We stayed for two nights in almost theatrical Victorian settings for our 30-th wedding anniversary. This was a unique experience for us. Accommodation was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Afternoon snack and wine tasting on Saturdays helped too. The owner was very helpful, energetic and friendly. We used his tips on local restaurants with a great success. However if the only... More

The Bedford Inn is a lovely bed and breakfast with fantastic accommodations and wonderful breakfasts. It sits on a quiet street just a block from the beach and when you are tired of the sun, the porches are cool and the outdoor furniture is inviting. The innkeeper, Archie, was the perfect host, always concerned with our needs. Would love to... More
