Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bit of a mixed bag. The property is comfortable as it is casual, just off the turnpike and in a cluster of hotels that cater to a sprawling business park and nearby Edison. Rooms are comfortable and hotel is clean, but things have clearly seen better days. From a painfully slow lift to scuffed and tattered furniture, everything feels like it was last fresh in 2005. Disappointingly, housekeeping was request only and my request was ignored - aircon did not work properly and toiletries left empty. More optimistically, rooms are large and the bar is a welcome amenity. I wouldn’t avoid it, per se, but there is a painful need for investment and complete refurbishment.

It was fine, no complaints. Spent a quick one night there for a local concert, and it served its purpose. Everything was kept extremely clean from the parking lot through the lobby and hallways to our room. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be booking again for our next trip to that area. PS it was much appreciated that the air conditioner was turned up in the room at check in, felt great after being in the outside heat

Stayed for a few nights for a meeting in the hotel. Checkin could have been smoother. Mobile checkin and digital key request failed because of the way the reservation was made? Didn’t understand the issue, that has never been an issue before. The room was mostly quiet, facing away from highway. Hallway and neighboring room were noticeably loud when occupied with talkers. The lobby pantry was nearly empty the first night, thwarting any attempt at a quick snack. It was restocked the next day. They have a cookie jar out on the reception desk, but they were all welded together making it impossible to get one without breaking them. Bad location for any dining options without a car. My one experience at the bar was unwelcoming and off putting. Overcharged me on the room rate during checkout, but they did correct it. So, check your bill!!

Staff was nice, but hotel needs an upgrade. Bathroom smelled terribly of mold and sink countertop was peeling (due to mold?). Walls are very thin....you can hear everyone from next door rooms to upstairs rooms. Unable to control thermostat in room....we froze all night. Location is in industrial park. 1 night was enough:(

Stayed at this location while helping a family member complete a home renovation . Check in was fast , had couple of after dinner drinks at the small bar , Employee was trying to be friendly , but something was off a bit . While finishing up a group of not so classy men came down to have some drinks for a So called Bachelor party , followed by their entertainment . We decided to pay our check and head up to the room . Room a bit outdated, but was clean , the TV should be replaced to something bigger and 24 inches . Like I stated ok for a one night stay .

The first room we were given had hair all.over the bed sheets. The second room had a blood or something stain on the sheets. I had to show the clerks what I was talking about. Obviously to me as a former hotel manager myself that the manager of this property doe not care about it enough to do his job in inspecting rooms. Or if he does, he is not good enough at his job. This place was absolutely disgusting and I would not recommend you stay here at all.

I visited Edison specifically to attend a sports autograph/collectibles show at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center. I found the rooms to be clean with a comfortable workspace area and working fridge. I slept great here and the temperature settings were perfect. I used the fitness center, which had ample equipment and free weights (pics attached). I flew to the Newark Airport and did not rent a car, so it was nice there was a grill serving breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and a great deli next door (Harold's New York) you could walk to, making it easy to get a meal for a couple of days without a vehicle. The ride from the airport to the hotel was approximately 25 minutes without traffic. Arriving on a Thursday evening, the cost for an Uber to the hotel was over $100. I took a taxi, which cost $78.21. I paid $44.79 for the Uber ride back to the airport early Sunday morning. Taking Uber to the New Jersey Convention and Expo for two days, the average price was $13.94 each way. It was about a 5 minute ride, and I typically waited 5-10 minutes for a car. I considered walking one day, but it is around 3 miles, and there are no sidewalks to the convention center. The center is located in a business park type area. Overall, a good stay, and I definitely would return.

Stayed here for two nights and got no rest. There was a loud rumbling mechanical noise every couple of hours that lasted for about 10 minutes each time throughout our stay. We were out early in the morning and back late so didn't really get the chance to complain about it, but the noise was so loud that management must have known about it. Upon checkout we weren't even asked how was our stay....we will think twice before staying at a Hilton property again.

I decided to stay here during a visit to New Jersey. First off, I’d like to say a special thanks to Jeremy. He was awesome all around. From arranging an early to check in to being friendly and always willing to acknowledge me and what I needed, he delivered excellent customer service. The hotel itself was pretty quiet and comfortable. Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at in an office park. Another plus is having Harold’s Deli right next door. It’s a great place to eat with enormous portions. I would definitely stay here again

It was clean enough to be an ok stay. However, pretty sad vibe all around. You can see that at some point, it might've been a nice place to stay. In general jetted tubs are difficult to care for even at home, but for $200+ a night you'd expect a better condition. One of the picture frames was missing a corner and somehow that was considered too be ok to keep as is. The worst part for me was the outdated heating system. The noise kept me up all night. I expected better from Hilton. Would not be staying here again.
