We were lucky enough to be on the 39th Floor looking over NYC skyline - just breathtaking. Excellent location for public transport- supermarket behind us. Fab apartment - extra cost recouped by eating in, well worth it. Just a word of caution there is only one bed and a sofa bed - no quilt provided for the sofa bed. Just a blanket that isn’t warm enough.

It was touch and go whether we stayed here or at Candlewood which offers more reviews and looks acceptable from TripAdvisor. The massive advantage for the Grove Point site of Furnished Quarters is the extremely close proximity to Grove Street PATH station. It is a stones throw, not minutes away, it's seconds away. Given we visited in Dec and Jan with the weather being cold (at times very cold), getting back to our accommodation fast after a long day sight seeing was very important to us. As well as being close to the Grove Street PATH station it is also similarly close to Newark Avenue, part of which is pedestrianised with a range of good restaurants. It is also a short walk (between 5 and 10 minutes) from a large supermarket called ShopRite. And for the Coffee lovers, Starbucks is next door as well as a chemist (Drugstore). Our apartment was very clean, large and we were equipped with all the essentials required. It was just too easy! Tips: Book direct with Furnished Quarters. We paid a cheaper price for a one bedroom over the price quoted for a studio via Booking.com etc Eating locally: If you like Thai, try Sawadee. For American style, try Skinners Loft Commuting to Manhattan: Buy a SmartLink card ($5) and you can either add single or return rides (Single $2.75) or a 7 day unlimited ($29). There are other options. In Manhattan, buy a Metro Card which has similar options (though the card is free). If you are worried that you restating too far from Manhattan, do not. It is two stops to the World Trade Centre and there is another option with PATH to get to 33rd Street, via Christopher Street (in Greenwich Village). This is not different to staying in Lower Manhattan and having commute to midtown or Central Park. The added value is you pay less for your room and less tax. For the health conscious: They have a good gym as these apartments primarily appear to be servicing longer stay rentals.…

Квартиры находятся в многоэтажном доме. Домов несколько и они располагаются недалеко друг от друга. Мы останавливались в Sky City at Newport North.

I spent 6 weeks at Grove Pointe in Jersey City, booked through Furnished Quarters. Check in and out was smooth, with a good information pack in the room. Apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious.
