I was in town for business and dreaded the thought of being anywhere near the Jersey Shore in July. I figured traffic would be awful and the rates would be very high. This hotel had what I needed (location, free breakfast, free wireless internet), but not much else. They don't have a restaurant but there were plenty to choose from... more

The beds were hard, pillows flat, not enough towels and worlds smallest soap and shampoo! Room was very small for a family of four. No change machine in laundry/vending machine room. Had to drive around the front of the building in the evening to get change. When we returned and added our quarters for soap detergent it ate the money... more

The hotel is ok, when we got in the hotel they were replacing all the beds, so that was nice. The hotel is simple, and the room is ok, but not worth the price they are asking for. more

We had a bad experience like never before! We had discount coupons for this hotel and we especially drove down to this hotel with a newborn baby at 10:30 pm on a regular quite weeknight. At first they were considering honoring the discounted price, then they just changed their minds and decided that they will not honor it because they... more

Stay somewhere else! We got roped in because of a wedding. No pool - not open until after May 15th. No hot tub No in-room internet No SLEEP! Thanks to rowdy people staying because it is a cheap hotel. Cops were crawling all over the place so it must be common for the hotel to have issue. We were woke... more

My cycling team stayed at this hotel. We paid 70 dollars a room, which is a bit too much for what we got. First off, the rooms are quite small. There are very few outlets. The only nice thing about the rooms was one had a microwave and mini fried, the other didn’t. There was no hair conditioner and the... more

We booked a non smoking King. When we checked in it was not available. The halls were shabby and smelled. One lamp in the room stood unplugged because there was no outlet available and few outlets in the room. A power strip behind a piece of furniture was used for the TV but was not close enough for the lamp.... more

The room was small, but very clean. The staff was very friendly. The best thing was it is about 15 min. from the beaches and 10 min (not even) from restaurants and shopg. centrs. It's right off the Highway. Very convenient. more

We come to the Lakewood area from Boston several times a year to visit my wife's parents, and we've stayed in many different area motels. None of them have been worse than OK, but the Best Western has been easily the best. Absolutely no problems with the reservation; the room and bathroom were spotless and nicely decorated; the *free* wireless... more
