We have been going to the Firemen's convention for many years. I am able to get a 2bdrm2bath room for 3 nights at a great price. This year the pool was wonderfully heated, the staff very helpful and we had a great time. Excellent location, value and service. Free parking /one vehicle per room. Convenient to boardwalk. Nice spacious deck and heated pool. Maid service daily. Rooms very clean. I've stayed here 4 years in a row and have reserved next year again. No negative comments come to mind. Staff is very polite and very helpful. more

Have stayed at the Roman Holiday for years & have watched it go down hill on a consistent basis. The maid cleaned the bathroom floor with the towels we used & kicked them out the door, never washed the tub or sink. The sliding glass doors were filthy, so filthy you could hardly see out of them. Roman Holiday is a nice clean hotel conveniently across from the beach and in close proximity to the boardwalk. The management and housekeeping are very attentive, and pleasant to deal with. The large deck has cabanas and lounge chairs, and a good size barbecue. (Walk to nearby Russo's for some steaks, then up a block to the ice cream parlor.)... more

The management staff of Roman Holiday were a delight. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. Maid service was wonderful! They actually put the heater on in the otherwise freezing pool. more

i was only there for one-two nights. i had to wash the glasses, and coffee cups before i could use them - they were filthy dirty with lipstick smudges all over the coffee cups. the bathtub had hair in it. the carpet was taped together in one place. upon checking in she told me to come back in one hour... more
