Upon arrival our room was not ready, although we did arrived at the expected time that had been confirmed the day before. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and suggested that we walk the boardwalk meantime, which we did. Our room was ready once we returned and was small but looked pretty clean and had a small... more

The Blue Water is a great option for Ocean City NJ particularly if you have young children. It is close to the boardwalk and the beach and i understand in 2009 they will have a pool. Ocean City is a dry town so the dining options are limited, but the location puts you close to many of the better restaurants... more

To say this was the worse vacation rental we ever had would be a great understatement. My wife and I, along with our two sons, stayed here for a week. Upon arrival, we had to ask to have the room 'recleaned'. It was filthy!!!!!! The bathroom tile was cracked, full of dirt, mold and mildew. There were large stains on... more

Passing thru OC this was one of the few hotels with vacancies for an overnight stop. Now I know why! Really friendly guy on the desk gave us 2 rooms for one night for $200 plus tax and included breakfast, car parking and beach passes. The room was dingy. The AC unit was on top of the pillow. The shower... more

at the last minute my husband and i and our 2 children decided to go down the shore for a couple of days. we had no reservations, but when we got to the hotel they were very friendly and helped us get a room, they had the cleaning staff get our room done right away. the beds were comfortable, the... more

It was much better than we expected and the service was excellent. The only complaint we have is the the room was up some stairs and they don't have an elevator. Manager was extremly freiendly and knew where everything was at. Breakfast was more than we are use to for continental. I'd stay again the price is right. more

Just stumbled across the reviews on this place and I had to laugh. It's probably not fair to write a review or comment on our stay there in 2002. But.... We reserved a room there because it looked nice on the internet. Big mistake. They checked us in and we had to lug our luggage up the tiny stairwell, put... more

I find it odd that these folks wrote about the Blue Water Inn and a stay they had in 2002 since the name change just happened this year. The Blue Water Inn has been owned and operated for two years now by new people and a lot of things have been done to update the old hotel. We are working...

Stayed at the Sandaway Inn in August 2006 and it was probably the worst hotel I've ever been to. The room was severely water damaged and moldy, to the point where we had to buy lysol and a candle to make the smell tolerable. We asked them to switch us to another room, but they said the hotel was full... more

We stayed there in August 2005. What a smack in the face. No AC in the lobby/hallways...dripping sweat after taking baggage up one flight to enter lobby, then two more flights to room...no elevator. The room was tiny, fridge was on last legs( bring a cooler), no remote(which we reported, but they never gave us one after they said they... more
